I only plan on doing mild performance mods to the car.  But first, I have some things that I need to get done to make the car more reliable and safe.

Here is what I am looking at doing.

  • Install new clutch, flywheel, adjustable cable, billet quadrant, firewall adjuster, and short throw shifter.  Also replaced the rear main seal. (Completed 14 Sep 2010)
  • Turn rear drums, replace shoes...this should also fix the parking brake. (Completed 5 Sep 2010)
  • Replace front rotors, install new pads, clean and repack wheel bearings. (Completed 12 Sep 2010
  • Replace inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints and get front end alignment. (Completed 14 Sep 2010)
  • New wheels and tires.  (Completed 5 Mar 2011)
  • 65mm throttle body and spacer.
  • Cold air intake.
  • 1 5/8 inch shorty headers.  (unequal)
  • 2 1/2 inch high flow x-pipe.
  • 211/42 inch cat back exhaust.
  • MSD ignition system.
  • 24 lb injectors.
  • 73mm mass air meter.
  • 3.55 rear gears. (Car already has installed)
  • Aluminum drive shaft.
  • 9mm spark plug wires.
  • Replace A/C compressor, recharge.
  • Replace struts, shocks, and quad shocks...alignment.  (Completed 4 Mar 2011)
  • Caster/Camber plates.  (Completed 4 Mar 2011)
  • Upper and lower intake.  (Cobra or Trick Flow)
  • Tune.

Looks much better with the new wheels and tires.

Thanks Bro...The wheels I've had for awhile but the tires are just a few months old. I'm pretty happy with the fit and finish; even for a noname brand of rubber.

Why did you change out your one piece head lights?  Love the custom fender badges!  What happened to your door?  I am looking at getting an 88 GT that has front end damage to get the engine and tranny out to put in my 87 GT T-Top, and get the hood bolts so I can remove my rope, LOL!

I changed the headlights because of the corner reflector looks terrible from the side profile, plus I like to change stuff all the time

as for my door it was hurt at the shop lifted the car on the pinch weld rather than the frame and pushed the fender out and up....got it fixed now; check out my blog

as for the fender embles; I love them
