After the accident I ordered a new complete motor

and then the nightmares started to come...

After the motor was in we swapped out the engine harness

and began to plug them in. Well there were about 5 or more connectors that wouldnt reach the other end because it was in a different spot, so had to strip off the harness and put the old one back on. Then realized that the fuel system was returnless and then had to put the old fuel system back on. peice of cake.

So a few weeks later decided to put long tubes on it,

sounded easy ,HAH, it took hours and hours.

It would hace been easier to pull the motor back out

than do it the way we did. I couldnt lift the car any higher

to drop the the k member, so we took the bolts out of the motor

mounts and lifted it upand could only turn the header bolts

maybe an 1/8 of a turn at once

so if you are going to do it like i did you are crazy!!!

get access to a lift you wont regret it and u can thank me later
